The Road Ahead

The 18th annual Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital takes place March 16-28, 2010. There are 56 screening venues, 155 films, and an audience of 25,000 is expected to attend. Films selected for the festival “celebrate the wonder of the natural world and illuminate the growing challenges to life on earth.”

The Road Ahead: The First Green Long March will be screening Thursday November 12th at Bryant University as part of their China Seminar Series. Producer, Michael Raisler will introduce the film and be present for a Q&A session following the screening. The film is being screened in collaboration with the Golden Jasmine Chinese Film Festival (which is a partner of the Rhode Island International Film Festival) and the Department of Science and Technology of Bryant University. The Road Head: The First Green Long March will screen at The Cleveland International Film Festival, on Thursday, March 26th at 2pm and Sunday, March 29th at 4:40pm.

On March 3, 2009 at 6:30 PM, the Asia Society will host the first public New York City screening of The Road Ahead: The First Green Long March.

The film will be introduced by noted environmental author Bill McKibben and followed by a discussion between Mr. McKibben, author and reporter Orville Schell, and Cinereach producer Michael Raisler.

The Road Ahead: The First Green Long March screened as part of the “World Cinema Features” lineup at the 2008 Hamptons International Film Festival on Thursday, October 16th and Sunday, October 19th.
