Cinereach LTD - Production Company

Cinereach was created in 2006 by a group of young filmmakers, philanthropists and entrepreneurs with the goal of championing socially relevant films. It both produces and supports films that challenge, excite, innovate, offer new perspectives and inspire action. In the two years since its founding, Cinereach has made over $1.2 million in grants to support filmmakers, projects and organizations across the globe. Grantees include FilmAid International, Witness, The Human Rights Watch Film Festival and groundbreaking films Children of War, Jihad for Love, Project Kashmir, Neither the Veil, Nor the Four Walls, A Nomad’s Life and many others. Through the Reach Film Fellowship, Cinereach supports talented young filmmakers creating meaningful short films with artistic merit. Ryan Wong- Director

Born in Hong Kong, Ryan Wong is a photographer, cinematographer, and director working in the US and China. His films have screened worldwide at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Slamdance Film Festival, the Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival and beyond. The Road Ahead: The First Green Long March is Ryan’s feature documentary debut. Ryan is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is currently working with Jet Li’s One Foundation.

Sen-I Yu – Editor

Sen-I Yu has been working on documentaries in New York’s film/television industry for six years. She has edited seven feature documentaries, working with award-winning filmmakers such as Christine Choy, Joanne Cheng, Emily Abt, Jennifer Brooke & Beatrice Alda. Her credits also include a recent History Channel documentary.

Michael Raisler – Producer

Michael joined Cinereach in 2006 as Creative Director while completing his BFA in Film and Television Production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He manages the development and production of in-house films and works in tandem with Cinereach’s Special Projects and Granting programs to champion socially relevant media.

MacKenzie Fegan – Producer

MacKenzie Fegan is a New York-based producer, actor, and writer. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, MacKenzie Fegan currently produces documentary video for GOOD Magazine. While in China producing The Road Ahead on behalf of Cinereach, she traveled to the city where her mother was born, met family she didn’t know she had, and found inspiration in the tireless optimism of the students of the Green Long March.

Philipp Engelhorn – Executive Producer

Philipp founded Cinereach in 2006 with the goal of stimulating global unity and cross-cultural dialogue by supporting and creating socially conscious films. Originally from Germany, he came to New York to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Philipp is a member of the Board of Directors of the Creative Visions Foundation and the Founders Board of the Patrons of the Pinakothek in Munich.
